Keychain forgetfulness

Does 'KEYCHAIN' forget passwords?
Several of my passwords which are the same on all my devices (I-mac/MacBook/I-pad/I-phone) seem to get forgotten from time to time. Or even corrupted - recent example Mail, on both i-pad & i-phone, worked, apparently, to different passwords and eventually ceased to get mail. No such problems on MacBook & i-Mac.
I-Mac 2011; MacBook Pro 2016; I-pad Mini 3; i-phone 6
All have latest software updates (as at 3 Nov 2018).

Hello,

Are you using iCloud sync for your Keychain? I have seen issues with it across multiple devices. I don't sync my Keychain, as I use 1Password to store and sync all passwords.
