Through a few years or transferring, saving and backing up my itunes music across a few external drives I've got music (and folders) spread and duplicated all over the place and want to condense it all into one spot on my single and main external drive, getting rid of dupes etc.
Can anyone help get me through pulling this all together into a folder that makes sense and without me losing any music?
My gut wants me to throw all the files into one folder on external drive (so itunes can find it) and then use "consolidate files" in preferences to have itunes sort it all out..but my head says that might be crazy.
