iSync problem

I have a G5 iMac and a G4 Powerbook, both running 10.4.6.

The PowerBook seems to sync with .Mac OK but the iMac has started reporting an error and won't sync. The error doesn't give any insight into what the problem is.

I either get ".Mac sync error. A fialure occured while synchronizing the .Mac Sync Client" or "There was a problem with the sync operation. .Mac login failed" depending on whether I sync from ,Mac in system prefs or use the sync icon on the top bar.

Any ideas on how to cure this problem?

Hi Mike, I am afraid I do not have .Mac, but you could take a look HERE as it gives information on .Mac errors.

Thanks for that. I've wasted most of the day searching Apple support forums for a solution and it seems that 10.4.6 has broken quite a few iSync setups. After many hours trying various suggestion I've not got my iMac syncing but now not my laptop. I think I'll give up for a while and see if Apple come up with a fix
