Is Winebottler a good and safe app for Mavericks 10.9.2?

I'm looking for a way to run Irfanview on my Macbook Pro. Is this a good way?

No, use Parallels or VMWare and install Windows. All other solutions are buggy and very crashy.

iPhoto is the Mac App that fills this space.
