Hi,
while i am using a U=iMac M1, which is solely Thunderbolt and USB C... i am updating many of my items to USB C devices, Hard Drives external displays and Camera etc. I still have quite a few USB 3 items. but the iMac and iMac Mini seem to have a flaw of jut too few Ports on board.. I even have a powered 12 Port USB3 hub, but it uses a USB 3 plug...

(2 scanners, A4& A3, small A4 printer and Large Format 17" Printer, 6 Hard drives, Canon 5 D Mk2. etc.. and i prefer a wired usb mouse & Keyboard...)

i have 2 Usb Hubs on my imac M1, and already all they ports are used, but they are all USB 3... the Satechi Hub has a USB C port, but as it takes up one port and only give one then it is a problem (When i connect a hub to that port to daisy chain, i get "not enough power" messages and items drop off. have to many times the hard dish drops of an i can get a corruption.. etc..... esoecialy as i am using photoshop all day andhave been working on files when the HD drop and I end up saving a "Rescued" file... fun.

My question is, does anyone make a purely USB C hub, or is there a flaw in the system that wont let that happen...??

Regards, Sandy Barrie
