At my company we have a private LAN network, as well as a Private wiFi and a Public WiFi. One of our users has a Mac book pro running OS Lion. Most of the time he is plugged in with our LAN, but when he steps out with his mac book for a meeting his wifi automatically defaults to our Public network. Is there a way to make the Private wifi automatically default?

the WiFi will join the strongest network available.

in System Preferences > Network > WiFi > Advanced > WiFi > Prefered Networks Select the Public network and click minus.

Thanks for that tip, it seems to work at the moment. Will that completely remove it so that it never connects to it again?
