is automator able to do this?

I need an automator action that will do the following:

when a job folder is added to our "FINISHED WORK" folder on our NAS drive, I need the filenames of the files in the FINAL (or FINALS) folder within the job folder to be emailed to our CSR.

is that possible? Would it be triggered by the moving of the job folder to the finished jobs folder, or set to run every 30 minutes or so....would it slow things down at all? I tried an automator action that copied the contents of our dropbox folder to our NAS but it slowed the Macs on our network down dramatically, so I'm a little wary.

Sorry for the late reply. Your issue is outside my experience level with Automator/AppleScript. You could try posting over at MacScripter, as they should be able to help you out.
