I have the latest iPad mini. The OS7 update is available in the software update but I have heard that OS7 runs sluggishly on the mini so I am loath to update although I would like the latest OS on my mini. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it safe to update.

I have not found this in fact quit the reverse, my iPad Mini runs really quick. One of the nice new features is how photos are now handled and love control centre.

Also how you can jump through multiple Apps by quickly tapping the home button twice. As my screen shot.

I agree with Old Scribe on this. I had no broadband when iOS 7 came out, so only installed it on my Mini yesterday, but I've seen no problems with it at all. One thing to note though, make sure there's plenty of space available before you start the update process!
