sounds like a simple problem however I cannot seem to fix it. i have a Mac desktop with OSX 10.4 11 software. I connect to the internet through a home wireless network. I am using an apple airport router which is connected directly to my cable modem.

Problem: I cannot stay connected to the internet on the Mac. All the other computers work fine including mac laptops i have in the same area so its not a range issue. I tried reestablishing the network and reconnecting doesn't work. I connect fine after I restart my computer but then after I go to a second or third page I get a diagnose connection problem screen and I cant reestablish the connection; however the airport utility says I am still connected to the internet through the correct wireless network.

What can i do here?

There are a lot of reasons that this could be happening.

If the basestation is old too, then it has a 5 device limit.
