iMovie - help editing youtube clip

Hi,

I have iMovie on my mac, although never used it before! I have a clip on you tube that I have found (it is the opening credits of a TV programme) and I want to be able to edit it so that I can have a file of the clip that is just a section of the clip, about 10 seconds of the clip. Any ideas on how to do this, would it be iMovie that does this? I need to have the video clip and the sound to the clip. If it is iMovie how do I do it?

You have to get that clip onto your Mac, and getting files from YouTube is a tricky process. There are some web sites that help with this. Google this. We can't really help with taking other peoples files.
