Image resize and copy

Hi there

I will try to make this as clear as possible:

I want to have one folder: Ex. CATCH FOLDER
when any images are copied into this folder, they must be copied and resized to another folder: RESIZED(within the CATCH FOLDER).

But I want this to happen automatically when the image is written or copied to CATCH FOLDER.

I have seen many posts that tell you how to make an app and when you drop the image or folder onto the app it does what is necessary, but it's not what I'm looking for.

Im still new to mac.
Can anybody help?

What you want is called a Folder Action,

Right Click on the CATCH FOLDER Folder and down the bottom of the Menu there is Folder Action Setup.

From there you select the script you want.
