ID Update

I have been attempting to update my Apple ID. I go through the process and receive an email from Apple requiring verification of my email address. This requires me to enter a verification code, which I do, only to be told that my email address [which both Apple and I are using] is not available. I'm at a loss to know what to do, any suggestions please?

It sounds like you are performing the correct steps, but because of the secure nature of the issue, it is best to contact Apple Support directly: Contact Apple Support.

Sorry we couldn't help you out, but there isn't anything we would suggest that you aren't already trying. Let us know if it gets resolved.
