iBoostup & AwakeNewerTechUI

I discovered 'AwakeNewerTechUI' in my apps folder - tried everything to delete it (it is only 240 K in size) but am told it cannot be moved to trash because it is in use. It is running somewhere invisibly at stratum. Googled the name (AwakeNewerTechUI) and got a hit that says it is placed by 'iBoostup' which I do not have in my apps folder. Googled iBoostup and was told that it is something like MacKeeper. I don't want any of that garbage - I had MacKeeper and was getting up to six kernel panics a day for three months. Used Appzapper and panics stopped instantly. Help anyone? Please?

Sorry it took us so long to respond.

iBoostUp is an app that can be downloaded from the App Store.
-Did you download it?
-Does it show in your purchases?

AwakeNewerTechUI seems to be some form of add-on or related app.

You should be able to remove it after a restart. If not, then it is running in the background, and you can stop it's process first by using Utilities > Activity Monitor.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware may be able to remove them, or parts of them.

Let us know if you get it removed.
