I have OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6. Cannot export i movie

I have completed my project in I Movie but everytime I want to share it to a file, You tube, or facebook, or any other location it does not give me the output / export option. It just giving me input option and when scrolled down or up there is no export option. I used the help screen and have tried everything and cannot get my project to save or export where I want it.

I don't use iMovie, but here are the results of a google search of "How to export an imovie file":

1. In iMovie, open a project or select it in the Project Library, and then choose Share > YouTube. ...

I just tried it (short of doing the actual export), and it works as described (I am using the latest version of Sierra, OS 10.12.4, but I'd be surprised if it is different with OS 10.11.6).
