Turn on your Canon camera and set it to the mode you want to use for transferring images.

Connect your Canon camera to your Mac computer using a USB cable.

If your Mac doesn't have a USB port, you may need to use a USB-C to USB adapter.

Your Mac should automatically detect the Canon camera and launch the Photos app.

If the Photos app doesn't automatically launch, you can manually open it and select your Canon camera from the list of devices on the left-hand side.

Once your camera is selected, you should see a list of all the images on your camera.

You can then select the images you want to transfer and click "Import" to begin the transfer process.

After the transfer is complete, you can disconnect your Canon camera from your Mac.

Alternatively, you can also use Canon's EOS Utility software to connect your camera to your Mac and transfer images. This software can be downloaded for free from the Canon website.
