All my access to my Hotmail has been interrupted today Wednesday.

Related to recent announcement about MS Outlook.

Can anybody help?

Just condensing all that down a bit; deleting your old Hotmail account from whichever email client you're currently using and re adding it again will solve the problem, assuming that email client (app) eg. Apple Mail, is using up to date security protocols.

Many thanks. Does it matter that different devices, e.g ipad shows normal & acccepting e-mails, while i-phone says Account Error?

Not really. I had the same issue with MS's @live.com email account about a year back, also due to security changes. Worked okay on my Mac but could not login on iPhone.

Looks like I shall have to brave and close and restart my e-mail hotmail account but which to do first - MacBook Pro or I-phone? I-pad mini 6 seems all right.

I don't think it matters too much, personally I'd probably do it on my Mac first, the interface is easier to use.

Rodananne,
Have followed same route for my wife’s gadgets this morning. All seems OK, even with 10-yr old I-pad Air.
Thanks again.
