Hotmail has gone haywire!

Hello,

I am very new to macs and don't know much about internet forums!

I have recently installed a printer to my macbook pro and since then, I've encountered some frustrating glitches in Hotmail!! When I type an email,the window drops to the bottom of the page and although continues to type, I can't read it until I scroll up, and then when I start typing again the screen drops again!! Also, if I use the backspace button a message flashes up saying 'are you sure you want to quit this message' - all I want to do is delete one letter!!!

Do you know what's causing this??

Are you using a web browser to access Hotmail?
