Hello,

You shouldn't have to pay to use Skype with your Mac's mic and speakers.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X?
-Which version of Skype?

No worries.

-Mac Pro or MacBook Pro?
-Are you using the built-in Mic, or an external one?

OK, thanks.

-What brand/model is the external mic?
-Do you mean that voice with the mic works, but you are trying to send other audio from the Mac Pro through Skype?

The Mic works fine. Sorry I wasn't clear. I would like to send two signals through skype. My ext mic and the desktop sound. eg. I'm talking to someone on skype and say. hey have you seen this. So I share my screen with the person I'm speaking with and play a video from youtube. At the moment the recipient can see the video I'm playing but can not here the sound from the video. . And would like them to hear the sound as well. .

Thanks. .
