Hello I have messed up my Mac had I tried to install ashia Linux on another partition it’s never worked and now the 335gb of space is locked out on my hd.
I have a 1tb hd but when trying to reinstall macOS it says my hd is 668gb.
My drive lists it as free space in disk Utility but doesn’t allocate a number to the free space any help is appreciated

You need to repartition the drive back to normal. I think the easiest way is to get an external drive to backup your mac partition using Time Machine. Then restore the computer to factory settings and restore this backup.

It is possible to repartition without deleting everything, but it requires 3rd party software and a lot more googling.
