Help!!! I have no idea what to do!

Ok I just got a PowerBook g4 and I thought that I could download life 08 on it. The wrong disk got put in and it was the 08 osx install disk for my 08 MacBook instead. Now it says the software won't download and it has no operating system! What do I do to fix it?
