Hello and welcome.

You are experiencing a kernel panic. It can be caused by many things: corrupt software, failing had drive, failing RAM, video card issues, etc. From the log, it looks like you are running OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012).

-Have you been experiencing any hangs/freezing before this issue?
-What peripherals are plugged into it?
-Have you installed any software recently?
-Do you have any anti-virus or third-party apps like MacKeeper or CleanMyMac installed?
-Has the Mac been dropped or any liquid spilled on it, especially while it was powered on?

Thanks for responding!

I just downloaded El Capitan a few weeks ago. My puppy also chewed my old laptop charger, so I've been using the other charger (the square plug charger) that can go charge instead. I downloaded Bit Defender virus protector, which I've ran and it says no issues. I got rid of Spotify because I thought this was the issue (my girlfriend started having a similar problem on her computer). I've also installed Kindle Kid's Book Creator program by Amazon/Kindle.

Would it be any of these programs? Thanks so much!

No worries, that's why we are here.

t could actually be Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac...especially if it is a recent install and it runs a full-time active scanning routine. You could try totally uninstalling it and see if the issue clears up.

Spotify can cause slowness, but shouldn't cause panics. The Kindle app should be fine, as it is not a utility or app that is always running in the background.

Also, make sure you have a decent amount of free space on your hard dive - at least 20-30GBs.
