Help-Documents Folder

Here's hoping I'm not screwed. I had a Documents folder in my Dock and I also had a duplicate Documents Folder within it. I moved one of them to the Trash Bin and the other was still in the Dock. Well, I deleted everything in the Trash Bin and POOF.. there went the Doc Folder with all my documents.

I'm hoping there is hope.. but, I'm fearing not.

Have you been doing any backups? That will, most likely, the only thing that can save you.

As an aside, what you see in your Dock are just links to the original app/folder/file etc, so you wouldn't have lost anything other than that alias link. The real app/folder/file etc doesn't get deleted with their associated alias
