Hangup when Starting ?

Hi,

Have a 4 yr old desktop.

Won’t boot up. Tried everything.
Always hangs up.

Happened after trying to update to latest version.

Suggestions ?

BTW: what’s the normal lifetime for these desktops ? Always left on.

I answered you question on Mac-Forums but as to the viable lifespan about 5 years is the average but many last longer than that. Is it an Intel or a Silicon model?

All seems to work now.

Problem seems to have been when updating to latest version.
O.K.now (I think)
