Guest User

I keep getting the 'Guest User' icon when I open my Mac Air. I have disabled it, and switched on the firewall, but am getting the message that someone is using my computer each time that I turn it on. Also the flag on the top bar keeps changeing form Australian to US.
What is happening? How can I stop this?

Hello and welcome.

Have you tried repairing disk permissions using Disk Utility? This could correct the language issue.

Thanks Cory, I ran the disc utility and hopefully have fixed the problem. It did show that instead of 0 there were 80 library/java somethings. Ran the repair then verified. I also clicked on the site relating to guest user and followed their instructions. Some boxes that were there in 'General' security and privacy did not appear in my box. Possibly because I have OS 10.7.4, not 10.7.2.
