I keep getting old podcasts showing up in "Listen Now" in my MacOS 13.3.1 podcast app. Right now, I see Freakonomics podcast 319 from 02/14/2018. I have marked it as played 3 times and it is still there. I have also marked it played on my iPhone. My iPhone right now shows a currently unplayed podcast as well (that isn't shown on my Mac). When I pull it up on my Apple Watch and press the 3 horizontal lines, my display just spins.
When this happens, I tend to have to live with it for a week, or if I fast forward through the podcast, it often pulls up an older episode of that same podcast.
I just want unplayed podcasts that I have subscribed to show up, and all three devices to be the same.
Why doesn't marking a podcast as played change anything? Why do old podcasts sometimes show up?
