Get Info Comments - batch command?

I've got several folders with multiple files that I use for design. I'd like to be able to "label" the files in the Get Info with the sources. Rather than opening all the files' Get Info to add the information to those comment sections, is there a way to either make it so I can label the folder's Get Info, and make that information go to all the files, or can I "batch" the files' Get Info - Comments, add the comment to one file, and make it go to all the files' Get Info - Comments? Does this make sense?

Opening each file, then opening that file's Get Info, then making my comment, will take hours, if not days.

You can use Automator to create a workflow or app to batch edit file comments.

Open Automator (Applications > Automator).
  1. Choose Application.
  2. Add the action "Get Specified Finder Items".
  3. Add the action "Set Spotlight Comments for Finder Items".
  4. Enter your desired comment.
  5. Save and run it, or drop files onto the saved application.

This sets the same comment on all selected files.

Awesome! Thank you. I'll give this a try.
