My Xerox Phaser 6120 stopped printing in color. I believe it was related to the new system (10.6.5) and installed the driver for it from the Xerox site after reading a lot of forums in which that problem was discussed — Apple doesn't have a driver for that model.

Except for the initial "menu map" page, which prints 4 color, It doesn't print in anything else in color, just black. So, I don't what it is. I have the manual, but it doesn't help.

This is what it says on the installer: This installer places 5 files on your system

Xerox Phaser 6120 Job Options.plugin
Xerox Phaser 6120 Color.plugin
Xerox Phaser 6120.icns
xc6120pstops
Xerox Phaser 6120

This installer is for internal testing only

I have tried printing under "automatic" and "generic CYMK Profile". The response is "Profile unknown".
There are other profiles listed, but I have no idea of which one to use.

Thanks for any help.

If you have added those Drivers you may need to delete the Printer and Re-Install it before they take effect.

System Preferences > Print and Scan > minus and plus
