Hi everyone,

I've tried almost a dozen examples and nothing works right. All I want to do is create a Folder Action that resizes an image dropped into it into 3 sizes: 1920, 1080, 600.

So the folder [Downloaded Images] would look like this after I dropped a file into it:
original-image.jpg
original-image-1920px.jpg
original-image-1080px.jpg
original-image-600px.jpg

I want the original intact b/c I may need a new size later down the road. I'm on Sierra (10.12.5)

Ps. I tried setting this up as a service (for just one resize), but it always creates two copies and I don't know why. When I run it as a service, I'd get:
original-image.jpg
original-image copy-1920px.jpg
original-image-1920px.jpg

Pps. how do I change my account name? I misspelt it and didn't notice before hitting submit...

Thanks kindly!

Hello and welcome.

That is above my experience with Automator/AppleScript. You may try the folks over at MacScripter to see if they can help out.

Send Ian a private message...he may be able to adjust your username.
