Extreme lag on 15 Retina Macbook Pro

Hi,


Whenever I play League of Legends on my 15 inch retina macbook pro, the game starts out smoothly with a consistent 60 fps. However, after a certain period of time, the fps severely drops to about 5. It never used to do this, but now it happens consistently. Also, the fans have not turned on in months; they used to always be on whenever I played League, but they seem to never turn on anymore. Could the fps problem be related to the fan not working? Please help, and thanks!

Possibly a heat issue, as gaming can produce temps up to 91C, so I would expect a fan speed of maybe above 2.1K, personally I would book a GB appointment ASAP at your nearest Apple store, and get it checked.
