EXCEL use on Mac!!

Just converted fully to Macs! Mentioned to salesperson that I used EXCEL a lot for data analysis and was reassured it WOULD BE JUST FINE SIR...

Cant get published data from an official website to fully open. Despite enabling macros the pick list box won't work. Much of the formal data I access is in this format. Tried searching web but no real answers for a person with limited tech skills! Any advice would be so welcome.

I have been using Excel on various Macs for quite some time, but I am not doing anything "fancy" like you are. Here are the results of a search I just did for "Excel for Macs forums":
