Hello,

Since I got my laptop back a couple weeks ago, where the RAM cards & housing were all fixed, one bizarre lingering issue I've had is how that beautiful background image on the user select screen...turned to voodoo.

Any knowledge on how I can restore that pretty mountain bullshit? -ha-

Thanks!

OK...try this:

-In Finder, click Go > Go to Folder... in menu bar
-In the box, enter /Library/Caches and click Go button
-In the window that pops up, drag the file called com.apple.desktop.admin.png to the Trash and restart

That should update the login screen background image to a "blurred" version of your current Desktop.

Let me know if that works,

C
