SOLVED El Capitain mail

Hi, mail refuses to open. Internet working fine. Click mail and screen flashes on for less than
a second and then vanishes. I had this problem before but cannot remember how to solve.

Hello and welcome.

Maybe try turning off Wi-Fi, open Mail, then turn Wi-Fi back on.

See if that resolves it.

Hi, thank you so much. I have sorted it and if anyone else has same problem, delete all recent e mail, especially those with attachments, Click Mail and hold down Shift key immediately. Page appears, drag the thin line that runs down vertically between senders names and messages across the page. Double Click.
