Edit DVD movies via Final Cut Pro and how?

[FONT=&quot]I want to import some of my favorite DVD movies to Final Cut Pro for further editing on my Macbook Pro. But, I always got an error code each time I tried to put the DVD movies to FCP. Is there any solution? Thanks.[/FONT]

What is the error?

No software I know of edits VOBs so you will have to Import them via another App.
I use Handbreak or RipIt

I used Ripit and MacX DVD Ripper Pro. Both are good, but macx app also can back up dvd movies well, much more functional, I think.

Thanks. the macx app is really functional. I wanted to remove some unwanted part from the DVD, it just have such function. Pretty good.
