Disturbing messages

Dear all,

On my wife's iPad, when she is reading a book or doing an internet-course, appear disturbing (news)messages. They take about 1/3 of the screen, reduced messages, a kind of small tab windows. I can scroll through them. How can I get rid of this?

iPad 4 6th generation with iOS 13.1.3

Sounds like they may be Notifications from an app she has installed? Can we get a screenshot of what they look like?
