Hi All, I have a MBP 13-inch Mid 2012, 2.9Ghz intel core i7, 8gb 1600 Mhz DDR3, and when I go to do some Disk Utility First Aid (it tends to slow down occasionally...), I see two nearly identically-sized partitions showing 193GB used each. I can't recall ever partitioning this machine, and I'm wondering what to do about this. If I erased, through Disk Utility, the partition labeled Macintosh HD - Data, will I lose everything? The other Partition is the standard Macintosh HD partition.

Thanks!

One of these partitions is for your data and is read and write, the other is for system files and is read only. they are created by the system, do not erase them!!!!
