First, thanks for all your help with my previous posts!
I am trying to delete a .kext file (Boom), which I know is in System/Library/Extensions. But Library does not show the Extensions folder - simply not there.
Nor can I get the computer to show me .kext files - I have tried many ways.
Attached is a screenshot of this pesky file - but I cannot get to it!
Thanks
Nick

Hello,

-Which version of OS X again?
-Did you purchase the Boom 2 app from their website or the App Store? I assume the App Store?
-I remember seeing somewhere that Boom 2 has an uninstaller in one of the windows when the app is running?
-Your screenshot is actually showing that the kext is in Macintosh HD/Library/Extensions, not in Macintosh HD/System/Library/Extensions

Thanks, Cory, you did it again....I was looking in the wrong Library. Got rid of the .kext file and installed new version of Boom with no trouble.
I am still concerned that Finder would not show me the .kext files on the computer. I had to go through System Preferences/ System Report..../System Information to see them.
I have High Sierra.
