Deleted user/library files, v10.6.8

I'll try and keep this short and sweet. I was deleting my cache as I do ever now and then and I ended up deleting my user/library files by accident. Is there anyway I can recover them? I usually backup my files but I haven't for a while for various reasons so I would rather not use time machine.

Please help me, I desperately need my bookmarks (chrome). I know how to rcover bookmarks usually but since the files were completely deleted I cannot use bookmarks.bak solution. Any help anyone can give me is thoroughly appreciated! Thank you!

You'll have to use a File Recovery app, if you emptied the Trash.

I'd be more concerned about your email.

Yeah I thought I'd have to, I'm running two at the moment, one with some luck. Quite luckily I don't use Mail so it's all in the cloud. Thank you.
