Hi there

Just purchased a new macbook pro with touch bar. At the start the screen got stuck with a critical software update that asked to connect to wifi and could not completed

Any idea how to solve?

Hello and welcome.

I would suggest connecting your Mac to the Internet via an Ethernet cable if possible, since you cannot see any of the Wi-Fi networks in the dialog box. Or, click Other Network Options and you may be able to manually enter the Wi-Fi network information. You could always visit an Apple Store for assistance too, since it may be easier to diagnose in person.
