Creating text files and emailing

Hi all,

I'm new to this, but seeking help to create a simple automator folder action.

I want it to:

1. Receive PDfs
2. Extract text
3. Attached the text file to a new email
4. Send the email to my kindle account

I can get it working as a workflow, but when I convert to folder action, it creates the text file but does not attach it to the email I've created - has anyone any ideas for why this might be?
