Command+Z not working

Recently my left Command+Z hasnt been working. In Photoshop COmmand+Z fills the layer, command+z+option removes the last line but comes up with a message saying it was unable to fill. I have checked the keyboard settings and they are set at what they need to be. Also, in preview left Command+Z removes the last change and puts it in the trash, but right Command+Z doesnt do it.
My younger sibling spilled coke on my keyboard but it only hit the space key and right command i thought and those have been fine, but that was a week ago and it started doing this yesterday.

resetting/turning off hasnt worked

If you have another USB keyboard around you could test it to determine whether or not if it's the keyboard that's to blame ...
