Color tages on OS 10.15.7

Trying to get the color tag to cover the entire file name and not be just a dot at the end of the line.

Hello and welcome.

I don't know of any way to get the filename text to show the Tag color...just the dot. Maybe another member will chime in with a workaround?

I was able to do that on my previous computer OS 10.6.8 but for some reason can not tag color an entire file name on the new OS 10.15.7. Anyone?
