Clearing memory space on Lampshade Mac

HI -- I've got an ancient Mac that I use in my workshop for digitizing vintage vinyl using a legacy software program that lets me erase clicks and hisses. So it's not GIGO anymore; the output is better than the input. But I'm running out of (what? RAM?). Can anyone help me find a kind of "RESET" for this Lampshade Mac from around 2006 or so?

Hello,

Sounds like you are running out of disk space, not RAM.
  • Which model iMac?
  • Which version of OS?
  • Which audio application/version are you using?
  • How much free space is left?
