Catalina and Firefox

I upgraded to Catalina on my iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012) and started having issues with Firefox. I've transferred all my website details to Safari and deleted Firefox via Nektony App Cleaner.
Do you think it's worth doing a fresh install of the latest version of Firefox (I find it kinder than Safari) or should I steer clear?

-Which version of OS X/macOS did you upgrade to Catalina from?
-Which version of Firefox were you using?

The current version of Firefox is 86.0 and it is fully compatible with macOS 10.11 and later, including Apple Silicon M1 Macs and Big Sur. I would guess it may have just been an older version acting up after your upgrade to Catalina.

You could always try it, then uninstall it if it doesn't work as expected.
