I just lost the light on my cap lock key! While annoying - having to go back and correct - owing to not knowing if I'm typing lower or upper case . . . is there any way to correct this situation. If not, I certainly can liv with it. My keyboard is a little over one year old and it is wireless.

Hello,

-I assume this is an Apple Magic Keyboard?
-With or without keypad?
-With changeable batteries or rechargeable?
-Did it come with an iMac, or purchased separately?

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes, this is an Apple Magic Keyboard without a numeric keypad.
It is rechargable and it came with an iMac.
I purchased it from OWC in March of 2018 - 21.5 inch iMac with Retina 4K display 8GB Memory and 512GB Solid-State Drive.

p.s. After my initial qluestion to mac-help.com -
I went to System preferences/keyboard/modifier keys and entered "no action" to the caps lock key - so that now my typing is lower case and when I need caps, I'll press the "shift" key. This may be the easiest and most economical resolution that I can think of.

If you have any other ideas or solutions, I would gladly appreciate them.

Thanks again
JAS
