Can't log in to Mac

recently I'm change my password for iPhone 6s plus, I tried to use changed password to open iMac, I can not open my iMac.
I'm really worried about this situation, Someone please help me with this.....

Need some more information:

1. What Mac OS are you using on the iMac?

2. Do you have a backup on an external drive?

3. What does icloud have to do with this (sorry, I don't use icloud)?

4. How are you making posts here?

5. Maybe try and boot to the (hidden) Recovery HD partition. This link describes how to do that, and what else you can do:

If you had the same password to unlock both your iPhone & iMac (and I'm not sure if this is possible) and you changed your iPhone's password, this wouldn't interfere or alter your iMac's password in any way.

You would simply have 2 different passwords for both devices.

This is fairly typical & certainly not something to concern yourself with.
