Cant hear callers or called

Could someone please tell why my iPhone constantly refuses to allow those who call me, or those I call hear me speaking.
I can hear them loud and clear but they cannot hear me.

I have tried delleting the icons that are open and turning the phone off but to no avail.

My contract is with Orange.

You are not alone there ... the web is crawling with this topic it seems. I would take it in to your nearest Apple Service Centre.

I called into the Apple Store n Cambridge.THey acknowledge the fault but as my phone was 18 months old they want 116:00 to replace it.

I decided to try a fix it suggestion and it a appears to work.
