can't download docx documents?!

I have been attempting to down pdf files for a research paper and when it comes to downloading i get message that says "There is not enough memory or disk space to convert this document" Anyone have a clue because I don't.

What App are you using, sounds like a Word error, when it's trying to open a document from a different version of Word. Try opening it with TextEdit it is far more likely to work.
