Hi all, I hope I’m posting this in the correct place. Today I had to reset my router due to an internet problem and now I cannot connect to wifi. Usually on a PC it’s as easy as just typing the password in again but it won’t seem to let me do the same on Mac and I have no idea what I can do. Can anyone assist

Thanks!

Hi,

Not sure I fully understand, as just rebooting a router should never throw up a password request, as your Mac saves Wi-Fi passwords to your keychain, and you can see them in the Keychain Access application on your Mac.

I would suggest you shut both the Mac down and turn the router off, now reboot the Mac and once all is loaded turn the router on, then once you have all connectivity lights on the router go to your WiFi symbol in the control bar and select you network as per image.

What is the result?
