HI, Just got my new iMac 21" and want to save garage band files and videos to my hard drive. It says iCloud full. Can I save to the drive and not iCloud?

Hello,

You can save them to your Mac instead of iCloud. You may just need to click the disclosure triangle in the Save dialog to be able to see more options.

See if that helps,

Cory, hi. Thanks for your help. I sent video files by We Transfer to my email. I then opened the email and saved the video. I put it in iCloud because there was no choice for the hard drive. It then tells me my iCloud is full. When I log into my iCloud account it says it's empty !!!!! And when I open the video and got to save there is no choice other than Garage band, desktop, downloads and iCloud. there is no triangle. HELP.

No worries, we'll figure it out.

-Which version of macOS...Catalina 10.15.x?
-Are you using the Mail application, or logging into webmail via Safari or another browser?
-Desktop and Downloads should be on your Mac, not iCloud.

Maybe a few screenshots of the steps you are taking would help.
