BROTHER PJ-623 on Catalina 10.15.7

Hello...I am a newbie. Bought my first Macbook a week ago

I am trying to install my tattoo stencil printer BROTHER PJ-623 om my Macbook.
My Macbook is running macOS Catalina 10.15.7.

I have downloaded the printer drivers for maxOS 10.15.x.

The download page says it's version 1.0.4 (releasedate 24/12/2019).

After installing the driver I am unable to print.
When I connect the USB cable the printer is shown as online.
When I remove the USB cable the printer goes offline.

In my printer setting it says my printer is using printer driver 1.0.3 and not 1.0.4

I have no idea why it isnot using 1.0.4. Maybe there is a problem with the downloaded driver?
Or maybe I am missing something?

I tried deleting and reinstalling the drivers.
I have rebooted several times.

On my Windows 10 laptop my printer works fine.

At this moment I am looking for an other printer since I am unable to work without one.
Please help...

Hi,

If the printer works when connected via USB cable, then possibly it’s a WiFi issue. Double check that the printer is seen on your home network. I only say this because a few years ago I had the same issue with a cannon that was trying to use its own WiFi. Only discovered it while checking available networks.

The printer does not print at all.
It has no WIFI and does not work via USB cable.
